In this installment I completely restore a Pfaff 1245. These are super machines and they check all the right boxes. Compound feed walking foot, Big bobbin and German quality.
As a bonus I will show how to load the bobbin, how to thread the machine, tension assembly and adjustment.
Many ask what solvent I use. I use Diesel Fuel with a respirator and a well ventilated outdoor shop with no open sparks or flames. I think kerosene may be a more accepted solvent but that is my Missouri upbringing showing up.
I buy all my equipment and these industrial sewing machines myself and so anything you do to help is appreciated.
